Governor of Guam Carlos G. Camacho made a historic trip to Vietnam
In 1969, Governor of Guam Carlos G. Camacho made a historic trip to Vietnam to visit the CHamoru troops that were serving there.
He visited hundreds of soldiers, bringing gifts and warm messages for their families back home. He was joined by singer Johnny Sablan, who recorded the song “Christmas Odyssey in Vietnam” to chronicle the trip.
