Celebrate Honor, Heritage, and Island Flavor at the 4th Annual Night at the Museum
The Guam Museum Foundation is delighted to announce the 4th Annual Night at the Museum: Tuba, Chesa, yan Setbesa, a signature summer celebration honoring Guam’s rich culinary, brewing, and cultural traditions.
This year’s event will take place on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Senator Antonio M. Palomo Guam Museum & CHamoru Educational Facility in Hagåtña.
Guests are invited to enjoy an unforgettable evening of island flavors, cultural performances, storytelling, and community fellowship. The event will feature locally crafted tuba and setbesa paired with delectable chesa and Fina’mames, offering a celebration of Guam’s food, drink, and hospitality traditions in support of the Guam Museum Foundation.
This year’s Night at the Museum holds special significance with two meaningful cultural highlights: the unveiling of the Honor Wall featuring Guam’s World War II Survivors, and the premiere of I Hinanao-ta (Our Journey), a dynamic cultural dance show inspired by the Guam Museum’s permanent exhibit, I Hinanao-ta Nu I Manaotao Tåno’ – I CHamoru Siha: The Journey of the CHamoru People.
Through music, dance, and theater, I Hinanao-ta brings Guam’s history to life in a powerful and moving way. The performance offers audiences a profound exploration of the CHamoru people’s history, heritage, resilience, and cultural identity, transforming the museum experience into a living journey of remembrance and pride.
The evening will also serve as an opportunity to honor the legacy of Guam’s World War II Survivors, whose stories of courage, sacrifice, and perseverance continue to shape the island’s identity. The unveiling of the Honor Wall will stand as a lasting tribute to their lives and their place in Guam’s shared history.
Proceeds from the 4th Annual Night at the Museum directly support the Guam Museum Foundation’s operations and its ongoing mission to preserve, promote, and share CHamoru culture for future generations. By attending, sponsoring, or supporting this event, guests help sustain meaningful cultural programming, educational outreach, historical preservation, and community engagement at the Guam Museum.
Whether you are joining us for the flavors of tuba, chesa, and setbesa, the premiere of I Hinanao-ta, the unveiling of the Honor Wall, or the opportunity to support Guam’s cultural heritage, this special evening promises to be one of celebration, remembrance, and connection.
Join us for a night of honor, heritage, and island flavor at the Guam Museum.
Si Yu’os Ma’åse’ for supporting Guam’s cultural heritage.
